I find when I'm typing lately that the edit box loses focus and switches to the container. I think it's an ad doing it. I haven't been able to narrow down to just what add. Initially it seemed to be a dollar car rental ad, but I think it might have the banner at the top which I couldn't see. They both seem to switch at roughly the same time. It seems to have stopped, but since it's ads it might depend upon time of day for what ads you get.
Separately it would be nice to have a thread pinned to the top of each forum explaining the intended purpose of the forum. A specific example is I saw a post by a moderator in a thread saying you shouldn't ask questions in Civ 7 - Creation and Customization. Presumably the Help sub-forum is the correct place for that. That's certainly a better place since the main one is ironically flooded with MOD Request threads which is an implied question and request for help. It seems a mod request sub-forum would be a good idea. One for completed requests would be good as well. How you would administer that I'm not sure. It seems people could just report the thread to bring it to the moderators attention. I'm not sure how much that would be appreciated though. I would generally only report a thread if it was offensive or spam. It just seems what would be appropriate in the main forum is highlighting mods you find particularly useful, combinations that work well together and such. It seems the type of thing a person entering the forum out of curiosity would be interested is what would be most appropate.
