I usually play on prince, but I'm trying to beat each difficulty just so I can get the achievements for them. I started by trying a science victory as Korea. I ended up getting conquered before turn 150.

Next I tried a domination victory as Japan. I went for military techs, built up my military as fast as I could, but I couldn't get out of last place militarily no matter what I did. My three neighbors declared war on me and I again got conquered.
So I tried a duel size map, just having to capture one capital to win. Despite my best
efforts, Siam still had ten times the military strength as me and I got overwhelmed by pure numbers. As you could probably guess, I got conquered.

I figured that wasn't working so I figured a different strategy was needed and started trying for a cultural victory. I picked Ethiopia and an East vs West duel map. I figured the channel in the middle would slow down Suleiman and make it harder to take my coastal capital. To be extra sure, I also picked up Faith Healers and Defender of the faith. With my 40% extra combat strength and city being hard to capture, I figured I would be good. I alternated between building culture and strengthening my military. When Suleiman finally declared war I acutally held out quite well able to hold off his waves of units. But he started out teching me so much that I couldn't hold up to his more advanced units and my Capital fell to him.

By now enough was enough, if all they want to do is conquer me then I'll just never meet anyone that could conquer me. I made a huge archipelago map and removed all but one other civ. I picked Kamehameha and lined my coasts with Moai. I never ended up meeting the other civ, just a few city states. Things started off pretty well, I was able to pick up at least some of the wonders I wanted and had gotten my culture up to about 275 per turn. Without having to worry about military I was able to ignore most of the military techs and ruch straight for the cultural techs. I was about to pick up Archaeology when I got a notification "Mongolia has completed the SS booster." He ended up winning a Science victory two turns before I even reached the industial era. I checked the turn and it was only turn 194. He won before it was even turn 200! Disabling the Science win condition wouldn't have helped either as the graphs at the end showed that in the last 30 turns he was able to bring up his culture per turn to more than five times what I was making.

This is just plain stupid. It's so agrivating that no matter what I try and how much I set things up for my favor its useless. The other civs can just out-produce me in anything and everything.

You can't just jump from Prince to Deity willy-nilly. The difference is astronomical. The difference from Immortal to Deity is probably bigger than Prince to Immortal, even. Take difficulty one step at a time, first emperor, then immortal, then maybe go deity. It takes time.

But I want to win now.

FireTuner is your friend in this case. I'm not sure if enabling it disables achievements, though.

pick easiest settings, like:
Bismark, Marathon, Duel (versus Arabia), Pangea.
go for Domination.
under 120 turns is fairly easy.
the record though is Tractor Boy's 37 turns (3445BC!) ...
according to the Hall of Fame

You need to learn more about the game to play on higher difficulties. Its ridiculous to think that you can choose the right settings and employ simplistic strategies to win the game on the highest difficulty. It honestly sounds like you're more concerned with silly "achievements" than improving your skill.

One suggestion I'll make is rather than bouncing around between victory conditions, map types and civs, you should pick one and work on it. Play a bunch of games, pick out your flaws, analyze your play and try to improve upon something each time you start a new game. Achievements mean nothing. If you don't enjoy putting in the effort it takes to improve, there's no real point in playing beyond prince.

By learning as much about the game as possible and practicing a lot. Plenty of people can win before 200, its not that uncommon...

I don't want to spend months learning stupid, trivial parts of the programing to win. Like I said, I want to win now.

"I want to win now"? Please. You are going to have to learn about disappointment. Should be no surprise that winning on the highest difficulty level in this game is ... difficult. If it were easy, it wouldn't be worth playing. If you want the achievement, work for it.

I've seen a ton of threads here saying that even on deity the ai is easy to beat.

Is it just the achievement you want? There are ways to get it without actually needing to win legitimately.
