If a civ offers to send you a delegation or embassy, do you always accept? If not, when do you refuse?

I always accept it, but I've read somewhere if you're going domination then its better to not accept it.

Wonder why, they both disappear when you declare war on their owner.

Accepting a delegation and/or embassy gives them some level of diplomatic insight to information they normally wouldn't have. Of course, does the AI actually leverage that? Who knows... :)

In this early game, AI send you a delegation means they now know where your capital is, and if they are aggressive they will use this knowledge to five-warrior-rush you, directly going for your capital.

Embassy shows capital, delegation doesn't.

You are right. I think what had it confused with the "Share capital location" choice when first meet with other civs. If AI know your capital in this way they can do an early rush.

If you are going for RV you should not accept since the CS of religious units gets amplified by diplomatic visibility as well.
Delegations are quite nice to have with the diplomatic quarter for nearly every other game though. A few votes more per cycle or something to sell to the AI is always nice to have.
