Deleting Communism

I agree that communism is, strictly talking about the game goverment and not the real goverment, a useless goverment that I never use. But why bother in trying to remove it and risk to make the game crash or something? I mean, if it was something that gets in the way and makes the gameplay more difficult (like culture city turning) or umpleasent (like the constant request of the UN to go to elections) I would understand, but communism is just another goverment in the list.

Chiefpaco wants the AI to stay competetive late in the game. He wants the challenge. Right now, the AI switches to communism and drafts/whips itself to death. It's no challenge to take over a bunch of size 1 cities. You can change things in the editor or .bic file to do this. In the editor, you would save the rule changes as a scenario, so if the game crashed, you just wouldn't use that scenario again. If you change the .bic file, as long as you saved the original .bic file you have a backup in case the rule changes caused problems/crashes.
 
Get rid of It!

Communism isn't used by too many players, so most of us won't miss it.

Communism is a very sick trap for the AI. And this AI seems to keep falling for it!
 
But those who DO use it will.

It's just a matter of different playing styles.
