Is it possible to delete the Forbidden Palace? When I attempt to do this, only two options appear, Civlopedia: Forbidden Palace and Civlopedia: Culture. It is built very close to my capital and want to mave it FAR away.

That stinks, but what would moving the palace have to do with it??

If you're playing C3C, it doesn't really matter where your FP is.

However, if you're playing vanilla, move your Palace as far away as you can. There's a bug that will give all cities around FP far less corruption, if only the real Palace is far enough.

Even if you get your FP deleted by abandoning the city or whatever, you won't be able to build a second one. So to increase the distance between the palace and FP when FP is built there is only one option.... move the palace.

What if giving the FP city to another city?

Giving away also deletes FP with no rebuilding opportunity (and it is not there if you retake it, either).

In theory -- I have never done that in practice.

This is wrong, at least in C3C, I'm not sure about PTW or vanilla . If you abandon your FP city, you are allowed to build a new FP in a city of your choice. Of course you still need to have enough cities to build it. I think this applies to all small wonders.

I played a game a long time ago where my FP city flipped! I took it back again the next turn but the FP had of course gone. I could build a new FP though. I cannot remember if this was vanilla or PtW but I would imagine that you can build the FP again in either version.

I learnt from this to build the FP in my core and then jump/rush the palace if culturally weak. (Or wait until the rival is eliminated.) In C3C though I can't imagine wanting to move my FP-the most important thing is to actually have it.
