Dell Inspiron 9100 Battery Life

Ok, I got a new laptop last week, it's the Inspiron 9100.

Everything is like "wow, that's quick" etc etc.

Great machine.

One thing though. The battery life is about 1 hour with Civ3 and maybe 1 hour 30 mins with something like Word or Excel.

If someone can tell me where I can get a better battery, please let me know.

well the problem is not the battery but the cpu. IIRC this version of the Inspiron uses regular desktop cpus instead of optimized mobile-cpus. they offer higher performance but their power-consumption is huge. these machines are intendet to be desktop replacements and not really thought for highly mobile use, sorry.
