Demo install problems

I'm trying to install the demo and it says I need to update my Direct X drivers... fine.

So the finishes, then I click on "Finish" and I get an errors that says, "Are you sure you want to exit the installation?" I click No and it goes into a never ending Direct X install loop...

Any tips?

What happens when you click YES on "Are you sure you want to exit the installation?" ... IIRC, when I installed the demo, it ran the install twice, once for Direct X and then once for the game itself.

When I click Yes I get a box that says the install was interrupted before the game could be installed completely.

Yikes, don't know then. I didn't have that issue, maybe someone else in the forum can help.

1. Download another demo
2. reinstall
3. someone can send you their demo piecemeal

Sometimes you just have to be patient because the game installer is waiting for the directx installer to finish.

I've downloaded from two difference mirrors, and got the same thing.
I have tried installing and waiting to hit finish on the "Completed Installing Direct X" screen for a minute or two.. still nothing. I want to get the game, but I don't want to run into the same problems after I drop 50$.
