What are chances to get desease in your city?

-if x laborers work jongle ?
-if the city is build in jungle ?

combination of those 2 factors with x from 0 to citizen count

No idea what all the chances are. But, I can tell you that if you do not build your city on flood plains, and you do not have any citizens working on floodplains/jungle, then there is absolutely no chance of you being striken with disease :)

In example: A city completely surrounded by plains = no chance.

PS: It doesn't matter if you build your city on jungle, as it just disappears. This is not the case for floodplains tho.

Disease will also be a factor with marsh (3C3), and jungle as well as flood plain. Disease can effect two ways:

*within a city, any "population" working in one of these squares has a chance to die each turn. This will reduce a city's population. I have never seen a city loose more than 1 pop. pt. per turn.

*units fortified in these terrains also has a chance to die. I have never seen workers die, but I have lost military units. I think they must be fortified.

I also wonder if the calculation for disease doesn't also have some time factor. I see a lot of disease in the earlier ages, but even before sanitation it seems that it happens less often as the game goes on.

Also disease always strikes cities two turns in a row, provided the population does not fall to one in the first turn. Once you discover Sanitation, disease stops.

For jungle, I've found that you can pretty much eliminate concerns from disease by having at least two of your own workers working a jungle tile. And always clear jungle before roading it. Also, it is much more productive having mulitple workers clearing a single jungle tile at a time, rather than having them clear several jungle tiles at a time.
