Desert Earth

Soooo.... I finally got my Civ 3 CQ discy replaced, actually it's the complete edition now. So it's back to making crappy maps/scenarios for you to enjoy. ^_^

So this one is called Desert Earth, it has nothern and southern hemispheres divided by a great desert, that is impassable, save for a few routes that were cleared by thousands of brave pioneers etc etc, well anyway. Their rotten bones are now decorating the edges of those paths, and control over them is precious, considering trade, which really isn't even that necessary, since all resources are still pretty abundant.

The year is 3588. Humanity has been thrown back into the stone ages, and over 95% of all other species are now extinct, thanks to extensive nuclear attacks, and the use of tectonic reconfiguration devices. (Lol i came up with that one all by myself just to ignore the fact that the map looks nothing like earth...) The colonies in Alpha Centauri, and beyond have been completely destroyed by alien races. Can you reclaim all of earth, and show the galaxy, that humanity still has fight in them? Or will you be swept aside like the little monkey offspring that you are!

Well, all i can say is there's pretty ******** image hosts out there.. Took me 30 minutes to find one that doesnt A: Lose the images, B: Take an hour to upload it, and C: actually gives me a working link rofl.

And no, photobucket sucks.

Looks good, but i have an idea...

These routs trough the desert should have a VL on them, this could make the AI more agressive and create a better game.

At the risk of sounding complete and utter noob, what's a VL?
And well, i would hope that the differences in the civs' sizes would create aggression to a point. I'll propably be making a different scenario soon. I made this one over several days bit by bit, so i didn't exactly have a clear plan, but i think it's a good map if i do say myself. Oh, and i think i forgot to mention, that Babylon and Persia are locked allies.

Jesus christ, and i changed the name just because i knew someone had to have made a similar before. :S
Btw, i dont much like Victory Location type of games.. That's why i dont put them in. I'm more of the kill-them-all-type of of guy.
