I was wandering if it is planned for a Sheem only victory condition where they actually distroy the world?

We arent planning civ specific victory conditions. We do want different AI civ leaders to pursue different goals, and for the Sheaim that means the onset of armageddon and the destruction of creation. The Infernals will probably be pushing for that as well.

But I certainly dont mind if a player decides to go for that victory as the Bannor. As long as they are willing to go through the trials it takes to accomplish (and that is one hard and bumpy road).

I want a good and evil victory condition and a fire and brimstone/demons everywhere/the world in ruins victory will probably be the evil one.

Sounds fun. Will the good victory condition be almost the same with everyone forcibly converted and practically slaves to a system of legalised ethics

Aww, that's not the only "good" outcome... what about the Elven Cultural Victory :mischief:

Well if there is a heaven and hell with fair impartial judges, then compleat genocide is universal justice! Good and Evil are undefineable, and in extreems easily mistaken for eachother.

All you can say is what fits the Fall From Heaven Theme? The awnser is not a flowers and sunshine ending.

I'm starting to envision both the good and the evil side becoming fed up with the other guys and wanting armageddon to hurry up so they can finally settle their differences on the field of battle. The neutrals, however, might be dedicated to preserving the status quo.

Armageddon (in the bible) is the final war between Heaven and Hell right? And the outcome will determine the fate of the world.

What if when you (now I dont know how armageddon and such work in FfH) trigger this war, and every civ has to be on a side, except maybe the neutrals. And every civ gets it's share of the Angels/Demons, and if you triggered the Armageddon and you win the war, you have won the game?

Yeap, this is the direction we are going. Except instead of being a specific point where you are in "normal mode" or "armageddon" this battle starts early and escalates depending on world events (and giving advantages to either side). So really the world can stay mortal, escalate favoring heaven, or escalate favoring hell. And the player can influence each option.

Add the detail into what all that means and you pretty much have the "Fire" phase.

Actually, Armageddon is supposed to be where the battle takes place I believe, it's the end of the world. In Hebrew it's Har-Mageddon (Mount Mageddon).
