Greetings. I have a question relating to AI agressiveness and the eventual outcome of the game. I can beet the game on Transcend (with ironman occationally) but the AI seems to be too agressive. Let me clarify: I have no problem with the agression itself. If a war must be waged, it must be waged and I'll deal with it. The problem I see with this is that the game inevitably ends with either a conquest or a diplomatic victory, or a loss on my part. Rarely I can pull off an economic victory (only with Morgan, of course,) but a transcendant victory seems impossible on both Transcend and Thinker due to the AI's seeming inability to be at peace. Too many times I will never have any peacable communication with a faction for the entire game. I admit sometimes this is because I do not give into demands often. Has anyone else found this to be a problem? I would imagine the scores for a late-game transcendant win on Transcend would be phenominal, and it seems a shame if I cannot get them just because I cannot be at peace with my neighbors. Might taking off some of the availible victory conditions change their behavior? Thanks.

Well, you can choose NOT to attack them, even with vendetta with everyone... this is often tempting for me since when I start improving my Empire, I often don't want to change my plans towards aggression, it would disrupt my so carefully build economy and planning.

You should try a One City Challenge... it should be harder to win by conquest, and a diplomatic victory would be impossible until late game (even then IIRC your base is capped at 128 pop?)

It sucks that the AI cannot attack or defend (or even build when you think of it) properly...
