[BNW] Shared Immortal Game Series Thread

T 141 Dom Victory

Hi everyone :) Finally found some time to play a game or two.

Really fun map with one of the best civ for early rushing :) Babylon gives such a great edge tech wise its hard to resist an early war.

Went Bowman training with Attila and captured. Then first army wnet Paris - Assyria - Rome - London while 2nd Xbow army got Sending and Alex.

After some thought I could be a better idea do go Paris straight away while training and defending from Attila with other troops.

Outstanding! When did you capture Attilla’s court? No upgrades needed past bowmen?

starter war around t10 with upgraded warior and stated to reinforce 1st army with bowman. Caprured around t 50 after some pillage and xp farm.

Whole idea was to cripple Attila before he produces mass of Horse Archers.

Cbs on immortal are good to t100-110 and xbows with pike will do the rest. Maybe with a little aid of knights

What social policies did you adopt?

Shared Immortal Game Series #2 - Shoshone
Hi all, Here is the second game in the SIGS series. This time we play as Pocatello of the Shoshone. This is a weird map, which makes it interesting. Its a Small Continents map with low sea level, which I heard can produce some weird results and it sure did. Hopefully you laugh as hard as I did when you find the nearby Natural Wonder (I settled it anyway!). A fantastic civilization that is pretty broad in its ability; Go in any direction for the victory with this one.

Perfect timing, I was just looking if u got a 2nd one up!

(as a small commentary; I dont know how others feel, but personally I prefer not knowing there's a natural wonder nearby since itll impact my starting moves quite a lot  )

I'll try to not spoil too much. I did not mean it as a hint of what to do though so it does not imply one should go in search of the NW before settling. Just wondering, is that what you were thinking or what impact does it have on your starting moves?

Played 100 turns on game #2.
Spoiler :

I stole 2 workers very early from ethiopia, that was nice. I got like 1 or 2 more later camping the cotton tile. I built like 4 workers myself because I got early friends with Milan and didn't want to steal from them.
My settlers got derailed a lot from barb camps spawning new barbs, so it took quite a bit of help of my 3 pathfinders to eventually get all cities settled.
Happiness is difficult, because the other civs don't have luxes to trade. I did trade a lot of iron and my luxes for their gold. I will probably dump this gold in CS for happiness.
I got 2 filler policies, 1 from oracle, i took patronage with consulates to hopefully get much more CS friends. I have been exploring with 2 triremes but sadly didn't find that many CS yet.
I'm going for workshops first before civil service, because of the dire happiness situation.
I'm thinking to just go spam frigates now...
