I thought red death was amazing, however my only problem is that I honestly don’t have enough friends to play it with. Even though I absolutely love the mode

I would love for the AI to have more power, more specifically, a scrip that causes them to get a free unit, spawned on their original civilian unit every few turns. This free unit spawn turn cooldown reduces with increased difficulty.
This is a table of the turns between AI getting a free unit corresponding with the specific difficulty. I based it on my own in game performance, diety being an uncontested perfect game.
This means that every 3 turns, on diety difficulty, all AI players will get a free unit spawned on or next to their origional starting civilian unit.
This is a table of the chance of spawning which unit, stronger units have a lower chance to spawn and weaker units have a greater chance to spawn.
This means that when the AI gets their free unit spawn, the most likely unit they will get is the anti-tank unit, however there could be the slim chance that they might get a full tank unit as well.
Of course with the zombies faction, all units are replaced with zombies except for the civilian.
It would also be nice if the AI made a greater attempt at getting inside the safe-zone, as I very often encounter the AI getting killed by barbarians in the late game, or they struggle to cross water and die to the ring. I don’t know exactly what kills them, the game just ends very early on often as the AI manages to die on its own.
I would love to implement this script myself, but I’m no modder, so I can’t build it. I hope the developers haven’t fully abandoned CIV6, or release CIV7 with red death again, and hopefully with these AI improvements.
