Diamonds are a Rat's best friend

Yes after leaving tons of subtle hints, I am finally starting this story. The basic plot will be that my character. Zio, a simple street thief, is planning to upgrade his statis to criminal mastermind. How? You ask. By pulling off the biggest heist Fanatikku has ever seen. Lets just say that in the Japanatican palace theres an enourmous store room filled with gems, and Zio wants to :ehem: "lighten the governments load". He can't do it alone though. He'll need some assistance. Specifically anyone who has particular knowledge of the Palace .
Any one who would like to be a part of this story is welcome. Just post that you would like to join and we'll get started soon enough. Please also add your characters name and any skills that they may have.

I'm SaaMsan of the Ocean. Behing me are my 13 cronies, SaaMs 13. I don't count in the number as I'm SaaM. We're in this for the money, as the governemnt short changed me on my last refund check. I've got a variety of skills I bring to the table, including arson, explosive skills, document forging, method acting, reconisance, feng shui and office skills.
Unfortunatly, one of my 14 inters defected when he learned I wanted to pull a job, and he now works on the palace defense. He's the Ferret. Knows some, but not all of my tricks.
So, I want in on this. I wanna raid the treasury on a non per-turn basis (as I've been doing for the last couple months), get the loot and set sail for the new world. So how about it?

As the 14 strangers enteres his hut, Zio sits holding Bon-bon in his hands gently petting her.

"Welcome all of you," Zio states, "If you will try to get comfortable, we can wait to see if anyone else will answer my 'call'."

The talkative one, his 13 oddities, and the extremely sweaty character who was not beeping vainly attempt to make themselves "comfortable" in the run down, one room place Zio calls home.

Ankka is a man of righteusness. All criminality is bad.

Ankka is actually a detective, Ankka Holmes, but not many know that. The Police doesn't like him, because he's too good, but they have to get his help, or they are in BIG trouble. No-one else could have seen so simple yet small clues so well, with so much wisdom. He has solved murders, robberies, and now got a hint from an anonymous person that someone would be trying the biggest plunder of all time in Japanatika.

Would Detective Ankka be able to solve this mystery even before it happens, or would this be the first one he couldn't solve? Will he be able to stop the evil criminals?

Zio waited another hour. He sat at his desk sharpening his daggar to quench the bordom. "Sweaty" was still looking around nervously scratching himself. The 13 interns and their leader, the beaked left-wing fellow, were holding some sort of vocal practice to pass the time. Zio sheathed his knife and stands.

"Well, as it appears no one else will be attending our little 'meeting'," he starts, "I think we can begin. As you may know, the government has a large stash of gems hidden deep in the palace here in Fanatikku. Our little 'mission' is to gain access to the palace and swipe enogh of these jewels to make each of us 'financially secure'.

My plan is that we enter the palace under the discuise of Saamsans musical group. There will be no doubt of it as they are well known all over Japanatica. Once we're inside the palace, Saamsan, Nobody, and myself, will slip away into the dungeons." Zio pulls out a large map of the castle, "As you can see, the three of us will easily be able to slip down this staircase with a simple distraction by one or more of Saamsan's interns. The interns travel to the throne room to give the royal family a performance. The rest of us will navigate this corridor here." Zio points to the map, "There are many hallways branching off, so we should have no trouble avoiding any guard's eye. This hall will take us to a large room. The west wall of the hallway is also the wall of the royal vault. We must penetrate the wall take as many gems as we can carry. After this is finished, we can hide in this cell here," Zio points to the map again, "This cell is located directly below the throne room. When we hear the interns finishing their concert, we start to head back. We will meet up with the interns at the same point we left them. From there we can exit the castle. My plan is the do all of this as covertly as possible, and if all goes acoarding to plan, the government wont even know any thing happened. Each man will get their own share of the profits, and after that, our group is dismissed. Any questions?"

SaaMsan rose from the table after hearing the plan

"No objections here, boss. All I see is a plan. Take whatever interns you need to pull of the acting jobs. They're all quick learns. Just tell them what you need them to do and they'll do it. As for me, I'm following you into the wall. I'll take three or four interns with me. You tell the rest what they need to do. Lets get this thing done."

After hearing this news from one of SaaM's interns, boy is she hot and great in bed , Wolfgangsan wants to join the heist. And since the plan is musical, who esle would you want but a musician. If you need my skills, all you have to do is ask.

 

[MOTH]

In a public ceremony Governor MOTH presents to the Domestic Minister the tax revenues from HAI-RANDO:
"Honorable Minister,
My family and I have been panning the streams of Epolenep where we have found a bounty of gem stones. I present for your pleasure this years tax revenue in the form of of these stones, including this magnificent 100 carat diamond. May this bounty help finance our magnificent nation. I urge you to take care in guarding this treasure."

MOTH heads north as he has heard of a Casino where he hopes to double some of the tax revenue that somehow didn't make it into the coffers.

As the discussion was taking place, Zio suddenly heard a knock on his door. He walked across the room and opened the door. A hooded man stood there holding a small slip of paper. Zio recognized the man, took the paper, read it, and handed the man a few coins. The strange hooded character turned and walked down the road disapearing into the darkness.

Zio walked in front of all the guests.

"I have just been informed that the royal family is off on vacation in Port Selma," he states, "Unfortuaneltely, this means we will have to find other means of entrance to the castle. Any ideas are welcome."
