Diedre and Morgan casting

For those of you who haven't been to the thread "any ideas for "Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri: The Movie"?, there is debate as to who should play Deidre and Morgan. I'd thought I'd settle it once and for all the way we internet types do best: with a poll!

Freeman has that manipulating, behind the scenes kind of personality.

I'm a Jackson man on this point...

He can appear calm and calculating (see Mace Windu) ... and there's just something about his personality that suits a maverick like Morgan.

Morgan Freeman is definitely Nwabudike Morgan. His role in Wanted is the perfect test.

Rachel Weiss is a good choice, but Maggie Gyllenhall might work if her accent was up to par.

Also, how was Mace Windu calm and collected? He was pulling his light saber out well before he finished, "You are under arrest."

yup. I agree with schwick , Wanted is almost the exact type of character he would be displaying.

Rachel Weiss still seems to me to be the choice, I can just picture her doing the role with so little effort. Knightly's too skinny IMO

Her voice also drives deep into your skull after a while. Deidre should be doing a lot of dialog.
