Difficulties with Science Victory!

Hi everyone,

Last night I spent a lot of time trying to achieve a science victory in Civ 5, I was leading every other civilization regarding literacy or science... i finally built every spaceship component, namely; SS Cockpit, SS Booster, SS Engine and SS Stasis Chamber, when done I kept on taking every component to my capital and 'integrated' each to my spaceship... but it didn't take off! and I'm pretty sure no one else had achieved a victory up to that time... any ideas?? is this some kind of bug?

Did you build 3 SS Boosters? Because you need more than one. If you're not sure, you can go to the menu that drops down and check Victory Conditions. It will let you know what component you're missing.

Good point, I probably missed one! didn't know I was supposed to build 3 of those!

not so tough.
here's the list of Spaceship components you need to build
- 1 Cockpit
- 3 Boosters
- 1 Engine
- 1 Statis Chamber
but make sure you have every industrial buildings (any buildings that increases city production) to secure this victory sooner. SS factory may be a bit fancy.

yeah build SS factory only if you are waiting for the last component and want it completed faster.

Yep, and a very overwhelming one. Prince difficulty, might try a harder difficulty next time, just for the damned challenge.
