No Longer Just Lurking
This site has run many diplomacy games - there is currently a multi team civ 4 game running in the civ 4 Diplomacy cna Team Games forum and a Civ 3 PBEM multi-team game just being started in the Civ 3 Diplomacy and Team Games forum. Many games have also been played one civ against the AI. The main issue is dealing with all the time zone differences, hence pitboss for civ 4 team games or PBEM for Civ 3. I really hope they will release a pitboss or equivalent for civ 5 then I may be interested.
