Do you have the cajones to play one of the greatest games of all time? No luck involved, just you and seven of your closest enemies?

If so, post your interest here.

Soon we will be beginning a realtime game, AND a variant game. Maybe another standard game is on the horizon also! Plus, with your name on the list, you are ensuring yourself of a spot in a future game!

But first you must post your interest (with E-Mail address!).

Me. I'll play.

Holy, wait a sec. Is this the new Diplomacy subforum?

An achievement! The world has CHANGED for the better!

Present and voting.

Well, ambuel, if you like punishment, we can certainly have some more available. :D

Have you noticed our discussion of (hint hint) a real-time game on the tail end of the "Imperial Diplomacy" thread?

I would love to play. I just can't figure out how those other places play so just PM me here if yall start a new game.

e-mails on my profile.

I have studied the rulebook that I have finally tracked down and am ready to risk my neck in my debut game of Diplomacy. I only have internet access at work so that's 9-5 GMT Monday - Friday. I realise this could make things a bit difficult for two turns a week so should probably start a slower game than those already being played. :(

If I might make a suggestion, perhaps you could redo this thread as a register of all players. The format could be something like this:

[example]
Name: duke o' york
E-mail: theactormichaelyork@yahoo.co.uk
Current games: CivDip 007 (Austria), CivDip 009 (Turkey)
Availability for other games: either "One more", or "Not enough time, sorry".
[/example]

If you got each player here to register and edit their posts as required then you could have a quick reference guide for those starting new games or those looking for replacement players. As well as telling the particular GM, it would be good if people could post any holidays or work trips in their profile too so that other players could decide whether to get a substitute on or to wait for their return (if two or more players were going to be away). Just a suggestion! :)

Also, if you decide to make a thread like this then you should ask "Sexy Death" to sticky it. :goodjob:

True, but right now I am so swamped with work that I can't organize anything...

A new game should be opening soon, who will GM it is anyone's guess... (Magnus? Toasty?) :)

I am completly new to Diplomacy games, bt have gained experience of this sort of game from NES's in the NeverEnding Story forums.

Anyways, I would like to try plying one too. Count me in, and if someone could direct me to some rules please? Thx!

You need a PDF viewer to read them, but you can also get a PDF viewer for free from Adobe.com in any event.

Also, Flatlander Fox and Toasty have mentioned recently that they may want to GM a game soon, and replacment opportunities arise from time to time as well, so keep your eye on the threads!:king:

Thank you, it's nice to see people are still around here, regarding the date of some posts (in june  ). Jup, I will follow the forum regarding open positions. :goodjob:

Hi,

I've watched this forum for a while and skimmed over some games in Redscape. I think I have some more time on my hands and so I'd like to join up when/if I can.

I played quite a bit in High School but that was a while ago. :)

Here is my e-mail

XXXereid1@hotmail.comXXX
In between the Xs of course.

Thanks. And please be gentle. :)
