Diplomacy Players listing!

Indeed, Mr. Fox, I would rather be stabbed than left hanging by the indifference of my ally (i.e. NMR). Just do me a favor and leave me with more centres than he so I can be the biggest loser! :yeah:

I will probably sit '006' (007 will have to be spy dip, BTW  ) out as we have a lot of new faces here who are chomping at the bit to play.

I'll join in, only if we play a variant mind, I want to try something different.

Colonial Diplomacy anyone? It's supposed to be very good, well, good enough to get published by Avalon Hill anyway. :)

Rules as in standard Diplomacy except for the Trans-Siberian railroad which has special rules. Basically it acts as a convoy for one unit per turn, allowing it to move multiple provinces per turn. Great powers are:

Britain - Dark Blue
Turkey - White
Russia - Red
China - Yellow
Japan - Green
France - Light Blue
Holland - Black

there are two colonial, maybe if many will want to play, we could play the LARGE one (16, or 13 players, i'm not sure)

Hi!

I'm totally new to Dip [never played ftf or pbem] but I've read the rules :D Is there any site I can visit to hone my skills [tips and that sort of thing] that you'd particularly recommend?

I've played against Toasty and Jason on the NES forum, so Dip ought to be a change ;)

If you ever start up a new standard map game, count me in.

We have trouble keeping all the spots filled on the current games....

Hey whenever you're in need of someone just call me you know where you can find me :)

well i'll be HAPPY to play another big imperialism game...
are there 13. 16 players?

It's HUGE, and there is not a program for adjudicating it...

I lost the modern game due to player inactivity and it only had 10 players...

Once my other games end, I might jump into a standard game again, but with CivDip 002 hung semi-permanently in limbo, I won't start a game at least until the Christmas holiday.

Ick! I wouldn't touch Imperial Diplomacy with a 40-foot pole! Well, at least not as GM ;).

Is there interest enough for the colonial diplomacy variant? If so, I will start it.

Welcome! :king:

You may want to try http://www.redscape.com/ - a few of us play there as well, to maintain our Dip-addictions. ;)

I'll probably be up for another game soon, would fancy a variant:scan: although something tells me not much else will be up until this tournament ends - how longs that going ta take?

Maybe I'll get 300 posts in before the next game, so I can have one a those bizarre avatars:p
