As you may know, Firaxis hasn't provided the source files needed for dll mods, but that hasn't stopped me from making one. With no source code, I implemented the mod using a proxy dll and hooking.
In short, this behaves the same as the civ5 mod. Installation is a bit complicated because the game can't seem to load any dll mod. You first have to rename the original CvGameCoreDLLFinalRelease.dll (located in the game installation directory) to CvGameCoreDLLFinalRelease_orig.dll (important!), and then drop in the new dll. After that, it should work in every game, whether you enabled any mods or not.
