Diplomacy

huh military strenght?? :D

Korea: on our borderline i had lots of units(in towns) because it is my habit. And defens was no prob... and in that times i havent spi(y)es...

Net: i had spy.... i saw his army and my eyes going out-> my myllitary strong brutally go up, i built lots infantry/artillery etc and our strenghts was same.... so i dont know

I think relative military strength should play very heavily in diplomatic relations. Even if your reputation with another civ is TOAST , if you are very much more powerful-militarily-than them, then they will still behave in a very 'cordial' fashion towards you-at least to your face ;)! The same should apply to relative economic strength and-to a lesser extent-relative cultural strength.

The problem is that Civ is an extremely complex game, and AI is still a misnonomer. "Artificial stupidity" would be a better name, anything from Empire Earth II to Half-Life 2 has AI that can be repeatedly tricked, outsmarted and beaten by an eleven year old who wants to spend a few days at it.
The only way you're going to get logical opponents, rational trade agreements and on-the-fly treatise is to play with other human beings who can understand language.

Civilization isn't that complex game Firaxis would like to tell us.
I've seen more complex games, still with a better A.I.
The fact is Firaxis would like to sell an "image" ... the image of the product. Civilization's concept we can say it is literally ancient. Simply they would like to make a restyle of the product without too much effort ...

Well, if it is like Civ3, this time I'm not going to buy it, sorry.
