I give my surronding civs much luxries and gold but they are always furious with me what should i do to make them polite towards me.

bah why would u want them to be gracious towards you? if there furious with you, theres a better chance of them declaring war on you.

i've found that if you lead certain civs to war with you each time and win, which you usually do when its 3 on 1 that they are gracious towards you, no matter what you do.
