I was playing as Sparta Command, and I had Lal in a pact.
I was playing on a Tiny map, at Specialist level (I know, I'm a newb
)
So, I get elected to Governer, with Lal's help, and I go to vote for the Victory.
However, Lal deems to neccesary to vote AGAINST me in this, and he voted for the Hive. The Hive also had Zharkov and Gaia voting for it.
I lost, 43-42.
Why did Lal vote against me? He had a Truce with the Hive, and had ended the Vendetta only a few years ago, while we had been Pact Brothers for nearly 20 years.
I tried to screenshot it, but the image was just black. I guess Printscreen and SMAC don't go together.

)...can they do that? Are all the tools of diplomacy available to the player also accessible by the comp? Weird...
