direct x install problem

hey, when i try to install the game it comes up with the direct x install thing. i click accept and then try to install but it says internal error reffer to directx.log to determine error. can anyone please help me???? please

Did you refer to directx.log? It'll most likely be under your profile somewhere (C:\documents and settings\xxxx) so search there...if not it might just be sitting on the root of C:\

It might also be worth trying to install it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=0A9B6820-BFBB-4799-9908-D418CDEAC197&displaylang=en rather than from the cd/dvd.
