Nuclear weapons are completely unusable in multiplayer (the first to nuke wins). So, is there an easy way to disable them?

If you're playing with only human players a 'gentleman's agreement' to not use nukes may suffice.

For AI there's the WC resolution.

Honestly i have no idea because i only play singleplayer
But if vox populi mod works in multiplayer then i am sure this would run as well. its not an overhaul mod
Yes, but since multiplayer use a settup windows different from singleplayer, mods that modify the settup windows will not work in multiplayer, except by luck or if they were though for it.

In that case. I honestly don't know

in this thread, they propose two solutions, I don't know how to incorporate them in multiplayer, since I have no clue about modpacks etc., but they are XML edits:

1)
open
assets\Gameplay\XML\GameInfo\CIV5Projects.xml

change the MaxTeamInstances of manhattan project from 1 to 0

2)
in the same file,
set <AllowsNukes>true</AllowsNukes> to false.

(2nd solution is not confirmed in this thread)

If you already tried this, sorry for posting something obvious, this is what I found.

Neither appears to work in multiplayer. I found replacement XML in mod folder and corrected those values there, but no changes.
Modifying xml of modpack (weirdly) don't work. It should work if you modify it before creating the modpack.

Thank you, I modified Override/Civ5Units.xml with 1) solution and it appears to work.

Probably because you didn't delete cache after modifying modpack.
