Disabling the in-game log?

I am having trouble with what appears to be an in-game log. I can't disable it, and it is very annoying. Here's a screenshot of it:

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it?

I think you need to give permission for CivIV/C2C to write to files. Either run it as admin or change the permissions through the properties tab.

First, try installing civ outside of Program Files, that can cause problems on modern Windows OSes. Secondly, if you want the reports to go away you can adjust that in the Civ4Alerts section of the BUG menu.
