From time to time, I have a stack of units or caravans that is too long to show completely on the status screen. To get at the unit you want, you may have to move some out to reduce the number in the stack, select the one you want, then move the units back. Well, after many years of playing, I found a way to help this situation. The status window can be adjusted. I have known that you can increase the size a bit by moving the top up, obscuring the map. What is news to me is that if you reduce the WIDTH enough, the entries go to a smaller font size, letting you see more units. As a side benefit, this more narrow status window lets you increase the width of the main map, letting you see more.

When you say "status window" is that the pop-up window listing units, or the one along the right side of the display? From your comments about increasing the width of the map, it sounds like you're referring to the one on the right side of the screen, but I didn't know you could select/activate a unit from that part of the screen.

I have known that for quite awhile as the MAC version has that size window as default.
1st thing I do with PC version is resize windows to the MAC standard :)

It's not as good as I thought. The re-sizing only applies to the status window on the side, letting you see what is there, but does not let you select from there. The pop-up window remains the same size.
