District cheat sheet from Reddit..

Very nice, thanks!

I built a city 3 tiles from an Oasis - and was jibbered when I discovered the aquaduct was a no-go.

Its fun to tinker with district placement, but painful when you realize you made a mistake.

Just to be clear, and I really looked in the in-game civipedia and couldn't find it:

a) you get 1 district per 3 pop, NOT including city center and aquaduct, but can build 2 at start? So 2, until pop 6?

b) if you have a replacement district, such as the Germans, Greeks, and Russians, building that doesn't count towards the cap

These are questions, not reports.

I wish the city build screen would tell you how many districts you can still build and so forth. If it does, I can't see where.

I think this is how it works too, though I'm not 100% surethe unique districts don't count against the cap. As for seeing how many districts you can build, its in the second tab on the city details window (the list you can bring up that tells you how much growth/amenities/housing your city has and where they are coming from)

Cool.

I love my situation in the current game, but I may have to do a restart because I forgot about the increasing costs of districts. I was thinking I could just district cap all my cities. Probably not a good idea.

Which districts/buildings provide benefits over a tile radius? Is it theatre squares and industrial zones and is it the tiles or does the city centre have to be in the 6 tile range? (Sorry - I'm sure I'm not making this up. I was hoping it'd be in the cheat sheet (which is great, BTW)).

buildings from the
Industrial district (factory+power plant)
and
Entertainment (zoo+stadium)

provide benefits to city centers (not tiles) in range
