Nothing about this screams Civ 6 to me, but its own independent thing. the article doesn't mention tying it to Civ 6 either. I'm thinking it looks closer to a Civ Rev style game but LEGO.

I've first thought Civ7, then I saw the first image, and decided it must be about Civ6. But TBH anyone could have put the first one together, so it actually doesn't say anything really.
At the end, we might never know :/.

I couldn't figure out how this game worked, but then I realized that resources will provide types of bricks and buildings will cost their brick cost. Then, obviously, Lego castles and knights, pirates, etc. would fill in the proper role. Not a strict Civ tech tree exactly, but one that reflects legacy Lego.
