Hi everybody!
I play the hemispheres map (custom game) and would like to know whether it somehow overrides the standard bonus placement system, the civ4bonusinfos.xml???
This is why I am pretty sure this is the case:
1. I tried to make silver available on plains and grassland by changing the civ4bonusinfos.xml => No result (had Sto help me make a custom silver placement code in python)
2. I tried to get rice to only be placed in jungle+grass terrain => No result
3. I tried to make wheat available on grassland => No result
4. I tried to make gold available on tundra and ice => No result.
The editing of the civ4bonusinfos.xml is really simple, so I am pretty sure that I haven't made some stupid error.
Does anybody know how to make map scripts follow the standard bonus placement system civ4bonusinfos.xml?????
I like to play custom games on standard sized maps playing with 9 civs (7 is game max for standard maps). Is adding extra civs a problem in regard to bonus placement??? (Apart from having a smaller land mass ratio, as I like to have to fight my way to a large empire)
