Do Scenarios Glorify the Adventurous Aspects of War While Ignoring the Atrocities?

- Sorry

I agree, Civilization is not realistic.

"Try reading the entire post this time and not just the closing sentence."
- I did read the post. No need to get mean, is there?

Sorry, didn't mean to bite your head off. The comment wasn't directed at you personally Insurgent, its was meant to be a general statement. It just seems that people don't read what's actually been written. They (more often than not) take things completely out of context or twist your words to mean something completely different (take what bixjj03 recently posted, the part after the second comma in the quote is an example of what matters...Sigh)

Again, I apologize (only) to you Insurgent (and not to the rest of you in this topic.)

This thread has gotten SO far from the original topic its amazing...

My work is done here.

Hate mail is cool, I've yet to receive any...I guess I should step up my protests on the United States

"I got my first hate mail today regarding the scenario! I'm so happy!"

I haven't had any hate mail :(.

Maybe I should be more loud in my support for Israel...

Where's Cybernut? Has he left the room?

I just wanted to tell him, that most of us (civers) believe this game is not realistic and it does not depict reality. The thought and attempts to make it completely realistic are doomed to fail. Besides, if you have to think about the consequenses of war every time you play, well, that's not fun...

So let's not ruin the game by making it something it isn't...

Yeah, it could be good to "let off some steam"...

Besides, many psychologists (not that I have any special sympathy for them!) believe, that playing "violent" games are good for our perception of reality!
