I, for one, hope they have one soon, since the 'solutions' that are being bandied about are nothing of the sort.
Even though I've already followed every suggestion I've seen posted in regards to updating drivers, the Directx 9c nonsense and the other voodoo remedies, I knew they weren't the problem, and lo and behold, they fixed nothing.
I've got no doubt that there are many people who are now worse off having gone in and mucked with their drivers and direct x settings and, having never done such a thing before, may be experiencing problems with other software now.
Were it not a royal pain in the ass to return software to Gamestop, this woud have gone back in the box and I'd already be playing something else. But as things stand, I'm hoping, perhaps in vain, that Firaxis gets its act together enough to remedy this gross failure of a release.
