Do you ever finish a game?

Recently I had a game, where my civilization defeated all other (i.e. one) civilizations.
A victory has not been achieved anyway.
Some turns later my land exceded a domination limit.
Still no victory.
Months ago I had civilization with more than ten cities with legendary culture each.
No victory too.

Is there a some option enabled/disabled that prevent a game from achieving a victory even if all victory conditions are met?

If you have the Mastery victory setting on the game only will "end" on a timer. The winner is by points.

I dont go past mid-ancient or so. It is too boring, buggy and too imbalanced then.

Likewise, although the buggy factor is the most important one for me, and the boring the least. I love the idea of this mod. But I've always run in to killer bugs. The most recent time was a CTD that recurred on reloading the save and re-ending the turn (I'm pretty sure I did submit it way back when). So I'm waiting until the stability is such that CTDs aren't present.

I'd love to see one release designated as a a long-term release, that has its own branch and will receive bugfixes but not new features, with the goal of making it rock-solid. Perhaps one release a year could be a long-term release. I'd definitely try this mod again if there were such a release that had been receiving just bugfixes for several months.

Playing on Noble, Gigantic, Eternity, 5 Continents, 7 civs (with Rev and Barb world on, started with 4 civs) turn 2457+, Im in the medieval Age... its 3225 BC. My civ is generating over 7800 science/turn.

But CTD aren't that bad! Just upload a savegame with it in the bug thread and it will be fixed most likely within a few days! And this also helps to make the game more stable.

There are bugs which are present for years.
The blockage bug is one example, which is fixed only recently.

Colonists are still bugged I guess...

Since you know, why not "assist" DH?? He is waaaaay over burdened, and dont say, i dont work on other peoples modmods? "Come on now"!!!:p;) We are not asking for you to join, just assist, unless you want to?? thx. . . . SO

Make it YOUR example to others to use INGAME, not just as a modmod component that no one gets to use or hardly ever, this way everyone can see it IN USE!!! Thats how Tsentom1 got started with helping me out with my modmod.

By making a mod component that works under all situations, without bugs, with pedia and tech screen adjustments all completed, 99% of the job is already done for you.

Whats left is porting into your mod which employs BUG and WOC which both I am against because of how they deal with python, so... why will I bother :D

Hi, like the thred :)

I´ve "finished" once, almost twice by mastery. And that was in early medivel times. But that was in monarch or prince and i think that is why i could win that early on. I had alot more cities and citizen then the AI. It´s a real diffrence on higher difficulty lvl, so perhaps try that. Atleast emperor to start. Should/could work :)

How do you finish early by Mastery? Is that some kind of 'Mercy Rule' option? Or do you mean Domination?
