I play with infoaddict, but I really only use that post VC.

I also use a no nukes mod. My reasons are probably similar to those of most who use "no nukes." I'm going to win the fight of nuke vs nuke anyway, so why add all the unrealistic mess.

I enjoy playing extra turns post VC, and nukes are just inevitable at that point. I've never NOT seen the AI use them. I'm always waaaaay more violent than the AI too, so I retaliate tenfold. Much unpleasantness.

What;s your objection to nukes? Just don't like to cleanup? They've patched it to make it easier. I believe fallout cleanup is down to 2 turns. You can fix up a city with a few workers in under 10 turns.

What I like about nukes is how to effects play for the better by placing reasonable limitations to your play. You have to think about troop placement and airforce placement more carefully. A few well-placed nukes in a first strike can wipe out your army and airforce.

More likely, they make the game too easy.
