Asking a dumb question : Does a despotism ever fall due to unhappiness? If not, can one ever get out of the damn thing, without a revolution?
The reason I am asking is, that I am playing a scenario and no government switching is allowed. Breaking an alliance meant collapse of government, and oops, pressing enter through the unhappiness reports made me select despotism as the new government, which sucks. Unfortunately I wasn't speedy enough to load the save game, before I had played several turns, without going into anarchy again. Long explanation. Is there relief ahead? Will I ever get rid of this stupid administration, sucking my economy dry with 500 gold each turn?
