Does anyone still have the 1.20 installer.

Would like to find the older one. It always felt like a more expansive version of fall from heaven, instead of a different game.
Really like the setting, but with RIFE, MOM, And Orbis all making drastic gameplay alterations from Civ 4, I've been feeling nostalgic.

The 1.23 patch would be what I'd really like to find.

i asked someone at work. he gave me an idea that might work... but the link might be available only for 30 days.
I'll try it this evening (french time (west coast time +5)) or (if I can't) it'll have to wait until sunday evening.

So: each of those links have a counter of 30days. when it's up, the link is dead. when someone dl, the counter starts again at 30 (from the day of the download).
day 1 is april 13th.
first "dead link date" is may 13th... unless someone dl it before that date.

If it doesn't work, try the links in post 17

I, too, am looking for 1.23 - mostly because I'm looking for a stable multiplayer version and I think I remember that one was? In any case the current build seems to have a lot of bugs.

The link you provided, however, sends me to a site that is all in french, with a captcha that is blank and therefore hard to enter. xD Is anyone else having this problem?

for the captcha ...
are you using firefox? chrome? IE ? did you try changing navigator ?

well, using firefox I have :
recopiez " Xyzw " ci dessous :
you just have to type "Xyzw" or "poulain" or "Soonnight" or whateer is written there (without the " " ) in the text-box. That word, written in a normal font, is the captcha.

then you click on "Valider et telecharger le fichier" which means "validate and download the file".

I you can't make it work, I'll see on tuesday or wednesday If I can take the time to upload on another server.

I know how to make a captcha work, my problem is that there is no text in the captcha box. xD It's just blank white...

nope.
the captcha IS in normal font....
there is no "captcha box" only " sentence : recopiez " Xyzw " ci dessous : written in normal font... and there is a big white box with nothing in it.
you don't have to try to find a "captcha" in the box. it is already in brackets inside the sentence.
before the mines of galad'hur : "speak friend and enter" ... you just speak "friend" and it opens.
the principle is the same : the sentence is : recopiez " Xyzw " ci dessous : and you just type the Xyzw .... without looking for any strange captcha in image form.

Okay, I still don't know what I am doing wrong here. >.< This is really frustrating... Attached is what I see when I follow the link, in Firefox or IE. I don't see any sentence that says "recopiez" anything. If I wait a couple seconds, the captcha box simply disappears entirely. Clicking the "valider" link just makes the captcha box pop back up.

What... the hell... am I missing? >.<
