Does this mod work with Steam copies of BTS?

This does seem like something obvious that would be in an FAQ, but I can't see anything...

A friend of mine has installed the mod to:


C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization iv beyond the sword\


He has the folders sitting in there all correctly... but the mods aren't appearing under "Load a mod" on the advanced menu: is this because it's a steam copy?

Yeah, that folder name is a bit weird, because there should be another subfolder "Beyond The Sword", this is then the right location, not the one you've mentioned.
