Doomed Galactic Journey (Game Thread)

With 18 people left and 49 12hr units, let me see.

The Professor writes down some calculations. A grim look comes across his face.

49 units/(4 days x 2 units/day) = 6.125 people

"If my math is correct we're screwed."

"We were screwed after we failed to execute someone on the first day. Why do you think I've been prodding you all to be decisive and just vote for someone? Maybe we'll repair our drive, find a way to make more oxygen, and finish off the rebels today, so I don't intend to give up, but we're going to be pushing it either way."

Why does everybody think, that the rebels are the killers?

There must be at least one more faction out there, and thats the one we should really fear.

I vote one tank to Renata.

"You make some good points, old geezer. And for now, I'll let you slip with that. Of course, it's always nice to meet another military man, aswell. So, based on what Commande Runner says, I think I would like to know more from PaulusIII?"

"Well, seems like I made a judgment mistake on that Ronin droid. He was ranting a bit about the Vanguard and his machinations, so I called him out on it because he'd seemed to lose it a bit. I had a private talk with him, and decided to let him off for the time being. He just seemed so upset about his battery being stolen and all that.

Seeing as how he was a rebel he was probably lying all along the way. These droids... hard to judge their character, especially when they seem to suffer from a few short circuits.

CCRunner, your frame of me is clever. Seeing as how you seem to have been voting along with him at the beginning of the day, I say you owe the rest an explanation on this as well."

The geologist looks thoughtful.

Are the saboteurs suicidal? I ask because we're now at the point where to turn back would be just as bad as to continue to our destination, so if their goal was to force us to abort the mission, they've succeeded only insomuch as it's becoming increasingly unlikely that any of us will be alive at the end of the voyage.

There must be something we don't know yet.

"Good miss Renata, you forget one thing. He had an oxygen pack on him! He would not have any of our oxygen problems... he'd be content to ride it out!"

Well, it seems to me that it could be something like an android rebellion of sorts. After all, they're the ones who would have no problems with us running out of oxygen.

Of course, Nictel's death seems to prove otherwise.

The big question is though, why were the rebels killed at night when it's usualyl the other way round?

Counter Rebels.

Either the real one, of which I don't think is ture (flips a burger) because he would have been killed already.

Or a secret Counter Rebel group.

I put some thought into this, but time is running out. CCRunner seems a bit suspicious. Also, I think Vanguard should take the laser, I trust him, and there is no sense in throwing something out if it could be useful. Charles Li should take the liquid as I'm sure the cook might have some insight to it.

(OOC: Don't we have another full day, or is my fever making me hallucinate?)

Uh, I made a mistake, it was supposed to be 52 hours (usual day + 4h). I just started w/ 24 instead of 48.

You still have another full day.

"I find it suspicious that Abgar and Chandrasekhar vote the laser to me when I have stated that I want it thrown out the airlock - it's not secure with a thief onboard. I would like you to alter those votes, gentlemen. For the common good."

"I was just checking through the conversation logs myself, and saw that. Assuming that Kulko is telling the truth, I suppose you have a point. Let's get rid of the laser."
