Hmmm I think downloading Civ 5 for free is not possible and illegal. Maybe you mean a free demo or something like that? I have no clue - perhaps Google will help.

Where are you from, if it is OK to ask. Perhaps there are any national-wide online shops in your country that sell the game and can ship a copy to your home?

It's possible to pay Steam via PayPal, which should be possible in most relevant countries.

If steam is not an option, you want some one to do something illegal to help you out? The game is over 4 Gig, and would take quite a while to just zip it around the internets, and this is not the sight where people are encouraged to do so. In fact it is frowned upon.

If it's a used version, then you should immediatly cancle the payment.
Because a Civ5 version can only be activated once. If it has been used, then you'll not be able to play it.

Sorry to say, but if your computer isn't fast enough to handle Steam, it certainly won't handle Civ V. In any case, Steam is required to play Civ V, so if you want to play the game, you have to have it. I would just get steam and download the demo first.

It does not matter. Steam will try to download the latest patch when the game is being initialized.
