Duel Installation of R:TW, how?

I started a campaign as the Brutii in RTW, then decided I wanted to install RTR. How do I install RTW again so I can finish my campaign?

Delete the registry files and reinstall RTW in a different folder (if you want to keep RTR, which by "duel installation" I'm assuming you want to), then go copy/move your vanilla savegame.

Personally, I'd go for Uninstall everything save the savegames -> Fresh install -> Two copies of "Data" in the same folder (I name the other DataRTR or DataRTW, whichever's appropriate) -> Patches for both "Data"s and modding for the other -> Rename when necessary.

Specifically, what do I delete in the registry, and how do I locate this specific thing? I don't want to just screw around in the registry because something will get broken.

Under "Activision" (or "SEGA"), there's one registry entry folder named "Rome: Total War" or something similar. Just delete that entire folder and you're good to go.

So the registry files aren't needed for the game to work? Just to install?

Yep, though obviously this isn't true for all applications.

I just installed the game into a folder and then copy and then copy pasted it twice, one is vanilla and also has the 4th Age Mod (which keeps seperate) and the other is my Darthmod install. I still have the origional install backed up. (For a total of 3).
