I have heard that there is a Dutch translation of Civ3. Does anyone know where?

Thanks,
Ellart

Ellart, welcome at CFC. :band:[party]

I don´t think such a translation exists for Civ 3. When I remember well, in the "Stone Age" of Civ 3 there was a mod named "Play as the Dutch". But even that mod had no dutch translation.

There are russian and german versions around I think. Speak either of those? Dutch is at least somewhat similar to German...

You could look on this as an excellent opportunity to learn English! :D

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies. I think I will pick up the German one. I will keep playing the English version:), but will try to get my kids addicted as well to Civ. We just got back from a vacation to Germany, and they picked up a lot of words. Not enough to read:crazyeye:, but enough to understand the basics and that is all what matters to Civ.

Civ 4 & Civ 5 seem a bit too much for them.

Thanks

I would let them play the english version rather than the german one. See it as a great way to learn another language.
And your kids are waaaaaay better off with english, spanish or even chinese in this world than with german.
And if you live near the border, they'll pick up german anyway (and they'll pick up english automatically by TV, games, internet and whatnot).
