Hello everyone, my name is Radster and this is my second map for Civilization V so any comments would be really helpful. My other map is called British Invasion of Eastern America Scenario so check that out as well :

This map in progress is a map which has islands for each civilization but each one is shaped like their country. For example Japan's island is...well...shaped like Japan. Even though some civilizations aren't island based (such as Mongolia or America), their islands are shaped like the countries. So far I have 4 islands done, America, Japan, Greece and Aztec. Only America has resources placed as well, but I will finish of the islands soon enough. Here are some screenshots. All the islands are with 60-70 tiles large.

Due to the unavoidable nature of the map, some islands are much larger than others in terms of proportion, such as America to Japan. However I assure you all of the islands are roughly the same size, and those with a size disadvantage, for e.g america, have more resources and some have natural wonders. Some civilizations Capitals have been moved, for e.g I have moved Washington D.C one block south to allow space for a city to the north.

I hope to create an island for each civilization and then connect them using coastal tiles so that you can sail to other islands. There will probably be some islands in between, though not as big as your home island. For now all the islands are in rough straight lines and columns, but I want your opinion if you want me to make it so that they are more naturally placed, so not in a grid-like pattern. Also if you want any more geographical features which you feel need to be put in, go ahead and tell me. Please tell me what you think, all your comments would be taken into careful consideration and may be implemented into the final map. I hope to make a G&K and Vanilla Version plus one with some DLC civs, such as Polynesia.

- Cheers!
