Okay,
I have been talking with some friends. While I have my suspicions as to what is causing the memory problem, it does not stop me from making a very high quality map. I just will not be satisfied unless I get this map made. I have increased my virtual memory and my do it some more. my goal is to have a lot of playing place. there still will be a huge ocean expanse but i cut it in half on the map i'm using.

after I get it done in grassland. anyone wanting to help to finish terrain and resourses is much appreciated.

It's considered good board etiquette to keep all discussion related to a particular mod in a single thread rather than starting up a new one everytime you think of something new or whatever the point of this new thread was supposed to be.

Hey Flash, I'm not laughing at you. I truly understand. Heck I started a new one tonight myself. "The promised land". Picture a MOD of Twelve Civ's. All in low tech era(slow science and only two religions (Judaism and Christianity). Each civ will be a tribe of the 12 tribes of Israel. Possibly Two teams. The 10 northern tribes vs. the two southern tribes. The 10 northern would have Judaism and the lower two Christianity. I have a great deal of knowledge and resources to create this and can bring it to a very detailed level. But it takes so much time.

Anyways, don't mind what people say but do try to keep the forums clean. Peace...

i do understand really. the problem is while intentions are true, you know as well as I that other conversations completely change the focus on the project. It isn't that I'm abandoning the other projects, but this is a new one, and this was the best way to keep the projects separate. As I said if this one works, I don't need the other maps. If this one fails then It stands as a warning to map makers everywhere.

Flash1, I think that people don't understand that. A lot of projects are usually beyond most peoples scope. But it appears your interest and dedication is much commendable

Dude you can look at a really awesome of your choice and then if you want a high-res, you select request and in 2-3 minutes it will be available from the link they post. Cooool stuff
