Easy question that needs answering.

I have seen pictures of peoples civ games with a grid on the maps they play on, in my game i never get a grid, and its kinda anyoning when trying to place citys where i want them, does anyone know how to enable the gird?

You could check under preferences.

Yeah, under map options. In the upper left hand corner of the game screen. Or shift-G (I think).

It's control-G. Can't do without it, when setting city sites.
