Easy upload system... can I have one?

A friend of mine has some webspace and I would love to be able to upload things to it (because I'm sortof co-admin) without having to use an ftp client.

Is the super awesome civfanatics upload system part of a script I could download, and then upload to his site? Or is it built in to this forum code, or something Thunderfall designed himself for himself?

I think this is more of a computer-talk question.

What's wrong with the FTP client? SmartFTP is quite good. As for an upload script, you could try PM-ing AlanH or Aeson => they wrote the upload script for the GOTM.

Internet Explorer/Explorer can work as an FTP-client, which means you're able to move and use the files on the server just like you use normal files on your hard drive. It's pretty neat once you get a connection going, which isn't always obvious...

Write the ftp-address and enter, then you click File->Log in and write your uID and pass.
