Hey guys,

I need some quick answers when making custom maps/mods:

1) Victory Conditions are shared amongst all players, you cant restrict a domination victory to 1 civilization right?

2) What is required exactly for a Diplomatic victory? I understand it's building the UN, holding a victory vote, and controlling 25% of the map?

3) If so is there a way to reduce or eliminate this 25% requirement?

Thanks!

Each civ has the same victory conditions possible. For a UN victory, you need to build the UN, hold the vote, and win it. You will automatically be included as a candidate. The AI must have at least 25% of the map (or be the largest), but you do not. (If the AI builds the UN, they probably won't hold a vote you can win, but if you are big enough to be a candidate it is a possibility.)

Close, but not quite CKS.

You *either* need to *control* the city which holds the U. N. *or* control 25% of the world's territory *or* population *or* stand 2nd in population to get into elections. If you don't meet the 25% or 2nd place requirements, instead of building the U. N., you can capture it to get into elections.
