How do I play on the Huge Earth map that comes with the game, but with differenct civs instead of the standard 18?

Huge noob question, but I totally appreciate any answers y'all can give...

As you can see for yourself, Bartleby147 made 5 different topics asking this same question within mere hours of each other. It is common procedure on ALL forums, not just this one, to limit yourself to one thread per topic. No need to make multiple ones across many forums.

In fact, he didn't even take my comments to be rude (nor were they intended to be), as he wrote:

If we go back to his original question, he wants to play with "different civs", not the "standard 18". If you go and follow the steps you listed, you will not be able to play as any of the Beyond the Sword or Warlords civs; only the standard Vanilla ones.

Not to mention the fact your post was almost a week after this topic died. Please don't take this as a personal attack; I am merely defending everything I wrote and explaining the fact that I did not wake up on the "wrong side of someone else's bed", as you so put it. Now let's leave this topic to pass, shall we?

Could be a little nicer and answered it more humane next time? He's human, not a dog. He comes here with literate questions and you gave him an illiterate answer. I'm sure he was unaware of previous posts for you go give him and me an attitude.
