Edit Technologies

I have a very simple request. I have a save game (latest version of Civ3 with all the expansion packs) and I want to edit the technologies of my civilization (add a few).

What is the simplest way to do this? Is there a cheat option anywhere?

I tried loading my save game in Civ3ConquestsEdit.exe but it only allows *.biq files.

Fastest way might be to look for the "Mega Trainer XL" which allows cheating during SP games.
