Editing CIV3 to stay in certain ages

Is it possible with the editor to delete some the advances so you stay in certain areas? Like a medieval only game or a Middle Ages etc?

You can slow the tech rate down to make the eras last longer. It might be less hectic than deleting techs which may throw the entire game in a tailspin.

Well, I don't exactly recall. I've not troubled w/ the editor since upgrading to 1.29b2. You'll need to locate the section for "difficulty levels" or "research rates" and then look around for the commands that control the tech rates. Bascially, you'll be slowing down research rates for technologies which in essence slows down the eras.

Well, you could always just delete all the industrial and modern age techs. In the editor, flag 'custom rules', then edit 'civilization advances'.
