Editing thread titles in User Created Maps

I have just noticed that I cannot change the titles of the threads I have started in User Created Maps but can do it elsewhere. Is this a bug or is there a reason for it?

After about 30 minutes after you post a new thread, you cannot change thread titles. You'll have to PM a mod to do it for you.
